I have been a practising medical herbalist for over 30 years since qualifying as a Member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists after an in depth four year training. As well as being a consultant herbalist I have run short courses on herbal medicine in colleges, given many hundreds of talks to any organisation who is interested, given radio interviews and written numerous articles some of which you can read on this website.
I was previously a lecturer at Lincoln University on the BSc (Hons) course in Herbal Medicine. I regularly open my practice for ‘herb days’ for anyone who wants to know more about herbs, identify them and how to use them for everyday ailments.
A light, non-oily antiseptic lotion for oily, spotty skin prone to outbreaks of spots or boils. Its antifungal and antibacterial action makes it suitable for athletes foot and fungal nail infections. Size: 60gram screw top jar.
Tea-tree aromatic water, tea tree essential oil, apricot kernel oil, evening primrose oil.
I ensure that the creams and lotions I use are made from sustainable, vegan, natural ingredients. They are, in my estimation, the best available. All the essential oils used are organic and minimum of preservatives are used; 0.3% rather than the 1% permitted by law. These creams and lotions include no parabens or other harmful ingredients.
To best identify the kind of condition and the suitability to your type of skin I have written a simple guide. Email me for a PDF copy.
